Under the permits issued by the Maine Department of Environmental Protection, a qualified independent inspector was required to visit the site no less than once per week. This process ensured compliance with all environmental permits, and offers the regulators and the public a chance to learn more about both the construction process and the extraordinary measures Record Hill Wind undertook to ensure that the project was built within both the spirit and the letter of environmental protection standards.
